Pore Cleanse Gel Intense

A gel cleanser with mandelic, salicylic and lactic acids. Exfoliates while it washes, which suits oilier skin.

Three acids in a rinse-off gel. Mandelic and lactic are alpha hydroxy acids and work at the surface; salicylic is a beta hydroxy acid, oil-soluble, so it gets into the pore. Because it washes off, contact time is short — a gentler way to use acids than a leave-on.

Twice a day is the upper limit, not the requirement. On drier or currently reactive skin, once a day is plenty, or only when a deeper cleanse is wanted.

Made for normal to oilier skin. Sources disagree about salicylic acid in pregnancy — ask your GP or midwife, and expect the answer to vary.

Actives: Lactic Acid (AHA), Mandelic Acid (AHA), Salicylic Acid (BHA)

Suits: Normal to oilier skin, once or twice daily depending on how it reads.

Not for: Dry or currently reactive skin at twice-daily use. Ask about salicylic acid if pregnant or breastfeeding.
