AHA | BHA Cleanser

Three acids in a wash-off cleanser — lactic 6%, glycolic 3%, salicylic 3%. Exfoliation with a short contact time.

Lactic and glycolic are alpha hydroxy acids and work at the surface. Salicylic is a beta hydroxy acid, oil-soluble, so it moves into the pore rather than sitting on top of it. Because this is a wash, contact time is measured in seconds — a lower-commitment way to use acids than a leave-on serum.

At 6% lactic and 3% salicylic it is not a mild cleanser. If you are already using an acid serum or a Vitamin A at night, this may be more exfoliation than your routine needs. Raise it at your consultation rather than deciding alone.

Made for normal to oilier skin, used once a day rather than twice while you find out how it settles.

Actives: Glycolic Acid (AHA) 3%, Lactic Acid (AHA) 6%, Salicylic Acid (BHA) 3%

Suits: Normal to oilier skin that already tolerates acids.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive or over-exfoliated. Pregnant or breastfeeding: salicylic acid divides reputable sources, so ask us.
