Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil

A cleansing oil on safflower and olive, with an emulsifier so it rinses. The first step of a double cleanse.

An oil cleanser built on safflower and olive oils with sorbeth-30 tetraoleate, an emulsifier — add warm water and the oil turns to a milk and rinses away rather than sitting on the skin. Beta-carotene and carrot seed oil give it its colour.

Oil dissolves oil, which is what makes this effective on sunscreen and makeup where a foaming cleanser has to work harder for the same result. It is built as the first of two steps, not as the only one.

Massaged into dry skin, including around the eyes, then emulsified with warm water and rinsed.

Contains geranium and orange oils, and the fragrance components that come with them.

Actives: Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C)

Suits: Most skin states, as a first cleanse over sunscreen or makeup.

Not for: Skin that reacts to fragrance or essential oils. Not intended as the only cleanse.
