Do I need a consultation to buy from here?

No. Anything stocked can be bought without seeing anyone. What a consultation adds is knowing which of it applies to your skin, and in what order.

Can I get these cheaper somewhere else?

Sometimes, and we would rather you knew that than found out later. We stock what we use in clinic and write into plans, at the price it costs. Nothing here is exclusive to us as a way of forcing the purchase.

What if I buy the wrong thing?

Ring before you buy if you are unsure — it is a shorter conversation than a return. Plans name ingredients rather than brands precisely so a product can be swapped without unpicking the whole routine.

Peptide Primer

A light cream with palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and plant oils. Doubles as a primer under makeup.

Two signal peptides — palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 — in a base of aloe, sweet almond and soybean oils with shea butter. Saffron and chamomile extracts sit alongside. It is light, and it holds makeup well, which is where the name comes from.

The caveat is fragrance. It carries rose, lavender and geranium oils, and declares linalool, citronellol and geraniol. ESK lists it as usable after a procedure; skin straight after a treatment is also the skin most likely to notice a fragrance, so ask your nurse before you use it that way.

Two to three pumps, as required.

Suits: Normal to drier skin. Under makeup.
