Do I need a consultation to buy from here?

No. Anything stocked can be bought without seeing anyone. What a consultation adds is knowing which of it applies to your skin, and in what order.

Can I get these cheaper somewhere else?

Sometimes, and we would rather you knew that than found out later. We stock what we use in clinic and write into plans, at the price it costs. Nothing here is exclusive to us as a way of forcing the purchase.

What if I buy the wrong thing?

Ring before you buy if you are unsure — it is a shorter conversation than a return. Plans name ingredients rather than brands precisely so a product can be swapped without unpicking the whole routine.

Niacinamide with rucinol, a polyhydroxy acid and papain. Rucinol acts on tyrosinase, the enzyme that starts melanin production.

The most layered cream in the range. Niacinamide leads it. 4-butylbenzene-1,3-diol, better known as rucinol, acts on tyrosinase — the enzyme at the start of melanin production. Gluconodeltalactone is a polyhydroxy acid, so it exfoliates slowly, and papain is a fruit enzyme that works on the surface only. Vitamin C is present as a stable oil-soluble ester.

That is several actives in one bottle. ESK's own instruction is to stop using it if irritation arrives, and we will repeat that rather than soften it.

Morning, under sunscreen. At night it goes on after a Vitamin A, not before it.

Actives: Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Vitamin C), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Hyaluronic Acid

Suits: Skin already established on actives.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive. Several actives at once is a lot to ask of it.
