Gentle Cleanse

A low-foaming gel cleanser on mild amphoteric and sugar-derived surfactants. No acids, no actives.

A wash-off cleanser with nothing active in it. The surfactants are mild ones — cocamidopropyl betaine, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, coco-glucoside and decyl glucoside — with glycerin and a yucca extract, and that is close to the whole formula.

That is the point of it. A cleanser's job is to leave. A routine already carrying Vitamin A or an acid serum does not need its cleanser doing work as well, and often does better when it doesn't.

Morning and evening, massaged into damp skin and splashed off.

Contains rosemary leaf oil.

Suits: Most skin states, including skin that is currently reactive or already using strong actives elsewhere.

Not for: Skin wanting exfoliation from the cleansing step.
