Do I need a consultation to buy from here?

No. Anything stocked can be bought without seeing anyone. What a consultation adds is knowing which of it applies to your skin, and in what order.

Can I get these cheaper somewhere else?

Sometimes, and we would rather you knew that than found out later. We stock what we use in clinic and write into plans, at the price it costs. Nothing here is exclusive to us as a way of forcing the purchase.

What if I buy the wrong thing?

Ring before you buy if you are unsure — it is a shorter conversation than a return. Plans name ingredients rather than brands precisely so a product can be swapped without unpicking the whole routine.

Clarifying Foam

A foaming cleanser with mandelic and salicylic acids and niacinamide. Exfoliates while it washes.

Two acids and a vitamin. Mandelic is an alpha hydroxy acid with a large molecule, so it moves in slowly. Salicylic is a beta hydroxy acid and oil-soluble, so it gets into the pore. Niacinamide sits alongside both, with tea tree oil and chlorhexidine digluconate.

Because it rinses, contact time is short — a wash is a gentler way to use acids than a leave-on product.

Worth knowing: if you are already using an acid serum or a Vitamin A at night, this may be more exfoliation than your routine needs. That is a conversation for your consultation rather than a reason not to buy it. Patch test 24 hours before first use.

Actives: Mandelic Acid (AHA), Salicylic Acid (BHA), Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

Suits: Normal to oilier skin. Can be used on the neck.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask us first — reputable sources disagree on salicylic acid.
