Soothe & Melt Cleansing Balm

An eight-ingredient cleansing balm with sunflower oil and sugar-derived emulsifiers. Melts on dry hands, rinses off.

Eight ingredients. Caprylic/capric triglyceride and sunflower seed oil do the dissolving — oil lifts oil, which is why a balm handles sunscreen and makeup better than a foaming wash. Sucrose laurate, sucrose stearate and sodium cocoyl isethionate are what let it rinse instead of leaving a film.

No fragrance and no essential oils in it, which is rarer in a balm than it should be.

Half a teaspoon, on dry hands and dry skin — wet hands stop it melting properly. Massage, then rinse with warm water or a damp pad. Keep it out of the eyes. After heavy sunscreen or makeup, a second wash-off cleanser is normal.

Suits: Any skin state. Useful where fragrance is a problem.

Not for: Keep it away from the eyes themselves.
