C-Tetra Cream

A morning moisturiser with tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate at 3% and hyaluronic acid. Vitamin C in a cream rather than a serum.

Vitamin C as tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate at 3%, the oil-soluble ester, carried in a light cream with sodium hyaluronate and vitamin E. It collapses two morning steps into one — the antioxidant and the moisturiser in a single application.

Three per cent is a modest strength, and worth being plain about. If you already use a dedicated Vitamin C serum, this is not meaningfully more Vitamin C; it is a moisturiser that happens to carry some.

Blended across the face, neck and décolletage after cleansing in the morning, with sunscreen over the top.

Contains citrus and geranium oils, and the fragrance components that come with them.

Suits: Skin wanting one morning step rather than two.

Not for: Skin already on a Vitamin C serum, and skin that reacts to citrus oils or fragrance.
