Skin Revision is a separate business with its own name, its own approach and its own way of working. Where Glow is clinical — a registered nurse, an assessment, a written plan — Skin Revision works with the body more broadly. Their signature session is Brazilian lymphatic drainage: 120 minutes, by appointment, unhurried by design.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage is the only Skin Revision treatment available here — it sits with us because it is therapeutic work on the body rather than a beauty service, which is the same line everything else at Glow is held to.

Lymphatic drainage is a form of manual massage. The strokes are slow, rhythmic and very light — closer to the weight of a hand resting on the skin than to a kneading massage — and they follow the direction the lymphatic system drains. The lymphatic system is the network of vessels that carries fluid from the body’s tissues back toward circulation.

The Brazilian style Skin Revision practises is firmer and more sculptural than the classic European technique, and their session is built around it: two hours, in a considered environment, at their pace. What a session involves, and whether it’s for you, is a conversation to have with them directly.

Because it sits outside our scope, and scope is the point. Glow does clinical skin work, delivered by a registered nurse against a written plan. Lymphatic drainage is a different discipline. We could stretch to offer something like it — we would rather it were done properly, by someone who does only that.

How the money works, since it is a fair question. Skin Revision rents its space here and carries its own insurance. When you book, you pay us at the desk — one payment instead of two, which is simpler for you and the only reason we do it. We collect the fee; we do not add to it. What Glow gets from the arrangement is rent, which is the same whether one person books or fifty — so nobody here has anything to gain by suggesting it to you.

The two businesses are separate. Separate companies, separate insurance, separate books. If a consultation here suggests this kind of work would suit you it goes in your plan, and the session itself is theirs — their practitioner, their technique, their call on whether it is right for you.
