Super C Ferulic

Two forms of Vitamin C at 30%, with ferulic acid. A morning antioxidant, and one of the strongest available.

Vitamin C in two forms — ethyl ascorbic acid and L-ascorbic acid — at 30%, with ferulic acid, which slows how quickly Vitamin C oxidises. Used in the morning, antioxidants work alongside sunscreen rather than instead of it.

Thirty per cent is a high strength and not a starting point. Vitamin C at this level can sting on first use and on skin that is not used to it.

A note on storage: Vitamin C darkens as it oxidises. A serum that has gone amber has stopped working, which is why the bottle is opaque and why it should not sit in a sunny window.

Not for: Skin new to Vitamin C, or currently reactive. Use a lower strength first.
