Glycolic acid at 10% in a leave-on overnight treatment. Two to three nights a week, and not every night.
Glycolic acid at 10%. It is the smallest of the alpha hydroxy acids, so it moves through the surface faster than lactic or mandelic — the reason it is effective, and the reason it is held to two or three nights a week here. Cyclodextrin holds part of the acid and releases it across the night rather than all at once.Apply straight after cleansing, before other serums, since it needs contact with skin to work. Slight tingling on application is expected.
Sunscreen the next day is part of using it. Not one to stack on the same night as a Vitamin A unless your nurse has said so.
Actives: Glycolic Acid (AHA) 10%
Suits: Skin already used to acids. Two to three nights a week.
Not for: Skin that is currently reactive. Not on the same night as Vitamin A without advice.
