Gluconolactone at 5.5%. It is a polyhydroxy acid — the molecule is larger than glycolic or lactic, so it moves through the surface more slowly and exfoliates more gradually. That is the whole reason to choose a PHA over an AHA.

Formulated for twice-daily use, which is unusual for an exfoliant and is a consequence of the acid rather than a claim about the product. If you already use an acid serum or a Vitamin A at night, once a day is likely enough.

Made for most skin states, including skin that has found glycolic or lactic acid too much. Press onto a pad and sweep, avoiding the eye area.
