Do I need a consultation to buy from here?

No. Anything stocked can be bought without seeing anyone. What a consultation adds is knowing which of it applies to your skin, and in what order.

Can I get these cheaper somewhere else?

Sometimes, and we would rather you knew that than found out later. We stock what we use in clinic and write into plans, at the price it costs. Nothing here is exclusive to us as a way of forcing the purchase.

What if I buy the wrong thing?

Ring before you buy if you are unsure — it is a shorter conversation than a return. Plans name ingredients rather than brands precisely so a product can be swapped without unpicking the whole routine.

Salicylic acid at 2% with tranexamic acid, in a 30ml bottle. The same tonic as the full size, in a size that travels.

Salicylic acid at 2% — a beta hydroxy acid, oil-soluble, which is why it works inside the pore rather than only across the surface. Tranexamic acid sits with it and does something different: it is not an exfoliant, and acts on the signalling that drives melanin production.

This is a leave-on, so contact time is long and 2% is full strength. Start once a day and read how the skin answers before going to twice.

Thirty millilitres. The same formula as the 150ml bottle — a size that travels, or that lets you find out whether it suits you before committing to a full one.

Made for normal to oilier skin. Sources disagree about salicylic acid in pregnancy, so that is a question for your GP or midwife.
