Salicylic acid at 2% — a beta hydroxy acid, oil-soluble, which is why it works inside the pore rather than only across the surface. Tranexamic acid sits with it and does something different: it is not an exfoliant, and acts on the signalling that drives melanin production.

This is a leave-on, so contact time is long and 2% is full strength. Start once a day and read how the skin answers before going to twice. The pump locks — twist anti-clockwise to unlock.

Made for normal to oilier skin. Sources disagree about salicylic acid in pregnancy, so that is a question for your GP or midwife.

Actives: Salicylic Acid (BHA) 2%

Suits: Normal to oilier skin, once daily to begin.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive, or already on a leave-on acid at night. Ask about salicylic acid if pregnant or breastfeeding.
