Liquid Peptides

A water-light serum carrying ten peptides, with sodium hyaluronate and panthenol. A hydrating step, not an exfoliating one.

Ten peptides in a water base — among them acetyl hexapeptide-8, pentapeptide-18, tetrapeptide-21 and copper palmitoyl heptapeptide-14 — with sodium hyaluronate, panthenol and glycerin holding water alongside them.

One thing worth stating plainly, because the ingredient list invites the wrong reading: the glycolic and lactic acid here appear as a copolymer used to carry the peptides. It is not free acid and it does not exfoliate.

Peptides are signalling ingredients, and the published evidence behind them is less settled than it is for Vitamin A or Vitamin C. We stock it. We are not going to overstate it.

Six drops morning and evening, before moisturiser.

Actives: Glycolic Acid (AHA), Lactic Acid (AHA), Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol (Vitamin B5)

Suits: Most skin states, including skin that is currently reactive.

Not for: Skin looking for exfoliation — there is no free acid in this.
