Eyelift Peptides

A peptide serum for the eye area, with dipeptide-2, chrysin and hesperidin methyl chalcone. Fifteen millilitres.

A light, water-based eye serum. The named actives are peptides — dipeptide-2, palmitoyl tripeptide-1, palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl hexapeptide-12 — alongside hesperidin methyl chalcone, chrysin (a flavone), and hydrolysed rice and soy proteins.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids used as signalling ingredients. The published evidence behind them is thinner than it is for Vitamin A or Vitamin C, and we would rather say so than let the ingredient list imply otherwise.

Applied around the eye contours morning and evening, avoiding the eyelids.

It contains denatured alcohol, which some skin does not get on with.

Suits: Skin that tolerates a light, alcohol-containing serum around the eye.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive, or that does not tolerate denatured alcohol. Not for the eyelids.
