Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate at 20% — an oil-soluble Vitamin C, in a water-based serum. Morning use.

Vitamin C as tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate at 20%. This is the oil-soluble, esterified form: more stable than L-ascorbic acid, and it does not need a low pH to hold together, so it tends not to sting the way pure ascorbic acid can.

Acetyl zingerone and tocopherol are the other antioxidants; green tea leaf vesicles and oat kernel extract fill out the base. Two to three pumps in the morning, before moisturiser.

Antioxidants work alongside sunscreen, never instead of it. Twenty per cent sits at the top of this range — if Vitamin C is new to you, a lower strength is the sensible place to start.
