Blemish Control Pads

Pre-soaked pads with salicylic acid at 2%. A beta hydroxy acid — oil-soluble, so it works inside the pore.

Salicylic acid at 2% on a woven pad, with allantoin and glycerin taking some of the edge off. Salicylic is a beta hydroxy acid: oil-soluble, which is what lets it work inside the pore rather than only on the surface. Two per cent is the usual upper strength for a leave-on.

Wipe one pad over the face after cleansing, avoiding the eye area, and let it dry before the rest of your routine. A pad covers everything it touches, so this is whole-face exfoliation rather than spot work.

If you already use an acid serum or a Vitamin A at night, this is likely more exfoliation than you need. Spearmint and rosemary oils give it the cooling smell. Patch test 24 hours before first use.

Actives: Salicylic Acid (BHA) 2%

Suits: Normal to oilier skin that is not already exfoliating nightly.

Not for: Skin that is currently reactive, or already on a nightly acid. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask us first — reputable sources disagree on salicylic acid.
