Position Overview
As our Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Glow Cosmetique’s online voice and community. This role is ideal for a creative strategist who excels in content creation, analytics, and brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Scheduling: Develop, design, and schedule engaging content (images, videos, captions) for platforms including Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Photography and Video: Proficient with a DSLR camera and off camera flash at a minimum.
- Community Management: Foster a strong connection with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Campaign Strategy: Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with brand objectives, including product launches, promotions, and events.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimise growth and engagement.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and industry news to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
- Ad Management: Create and manage paid social media ad campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and increasing engagement.
- Expertise in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and social media and time management platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, ASANA).
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and metrics.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Passion for the beauty and aesthetics industry is a plus.
Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
